May 6, 2010 (WUNROK) – GOSS Presidential Advisor for Political Affairs, Lual Diing Wol, on Thursday has disclosed his intention to decline another appointment in the upcoming government expressing his discontent with elections results.

The first multiparty elections since 24 years conducted last April were marred by irregularities, logistical problems, intimidations and accusations of riggings. Also, international observers said it failed to meet international standards.

Southern political parties equally accused security elements alleged loyal to Sudan People’s Liberation Movement to have been employing restrictive behaviors against their political activities throughout campaigning and voting periods. But both National Congress Party and Sudan People’s Liberation Movement members were ever quick to deny any involvement.

The National Elections Commission announced all presidential, legislative and gubernatorial elections results in favor of the two ruling parties in northern and southern Sudan leaving little or no seats to other political parties in both north and south. They accepted and celebrated results of their victories respectively.

However, Lieutenant General Lual Diing Wol, one of the most respected senior members of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement and who has never thought of changing his loyalty since joining SPLM as movement throughout hard days of the two decade years of struggle in the south, distanced himself from celebrations saying that results of the elections did not meet any item of the vision, mission and objective of the SPLM.

"The results announced by the National Elections Commission and accepted by the SPLM did not in any way meet any of the items of the SPLM vision, instead it has violated constitution and vision of the SPLM," he said.

"Because of this gross violation, I have decided not to be part of the government that will not see participation of representatives of the people and this is why I have this morning called and told both President of the government of southern Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit and his deputy, Dr. Riek Machar Teny never to consider me as part of their future government. Because I have seen that this upcoming government will not be the government of the people by the people and for the people, Lual" told Sudan Tribune from Nairobi, Kenya.

He further said declining any future appointment because "this government would be dominated by individuals who came to it as result of violation of SPLM vision which recognize and promote people rights to participate in issues relating to how they would like to manage their affairs," he said.

Lual said those who participate in the government or the legislative organs in the regional or national governments "will not be representatives of the people because none of them was fairly and competitively elected".

He went further to say that the "current members were not elected but were forcefully brought by the party against will of the local people for whom we took arms to liberate from denials to participate in their affairs".

"This was why we went to war against the central government to correct and transform it to be people’s government. Majority would have not gone to war if they knew we would adopt the same system," he adds.

Lual Diing Wol, who is also known as Baba Africa, holds two strong memberships in the SPLM hierarchy as member of the National Liberation Council and another as member of Political Bureau which is the highest organ in the political structure of the SPLM. Prior to the signing of the CPA, he was known to have been effective and influential official advisor to late SPLM Chairman, Dr.John Garang de Mabior.

Gen. Lual Diing Wol is correct to be not associated with this morally bankrupt SPLM that is now populated by opportunists and traitors. We have to form a new SPLM-Patriotic Front that is based on the original visions and principles for which we fought over the last 20 years. In fact, all independent candidates were the real SPLM and espoused a vision that is in line with the original intent of the party. We are now regaining hope because patriots like Lual Diing are willing to stand up for what the believe and not corruption.

This is really a giant step so far taken against SPLM mentality of brutalised political monopoly in the South. They think no one is monitoring behind whenever they see masses who do not want to tell the truth, burying their heads in the sand in denial or singing hallow songs of Support to them. This is an absolute nonsense. It’s now time Kiir, Machar and the likes would very soon be butted out.

What else remains when the real heros like Lual Diing himself have realised that we are heading down to doom under SPLM. I would by means hold up my gun today if it means SPLM could get rooted using barrel of a gun. Sincerelly, this is a big and fast beginning of SPLM’S downfall.

Who will lead that? Pagan Amum or Rebecca Nyandeng or Deng Alor?

Or will you adopt Yasser Aram to lead it?

        Ahahahahahhaaaa..........

Please read the survey polling on Sudantribune, all those leaders are far behind Dr. Riek Machar who you say has no supporters. He is leading this communist Pagan by several points despite Pagan being backed up by northern unionists.

          Gatweck!

The issue at hand is about a presidential adviser declining from any appointment by the SPLM in their forthcoming government, so if you were of a sound mind, you would have stayed on course and lamented on the subject matter. The general has a point that is being echoed throughout the south and the north of our country and as southerners we should be concerned, especially if we are to be an independent state one day.

The SPLM as a party has to reform its reputation, because if influential and high profile people like Gen. Lual start to voice their frustrations towards the party that he help shaped, than there must be something seriously wrong. We all know that a lot southerners sounded their grievances about the conduct of SPLM operatives during the elections, but who gives a fuck when its only the the little people talking....huh?

Lastly Gatweck, please stop belly-dancing Riek’s name into every issue you comment on this web-page, you idiot. Do you think that its only you and Riek who wants the south to be independent or was the task of the south to be free bestowed upon you and your uncle Riek? You are a bigot and a hypocrate....Period.

It is good that our party (SPLM) weaknesses are openly said by the high ranking members of our party like Unlce Lualdit Diing Wol. We do not know the Devil that has taken over our party (SPLM/A) after the signing of Comprehensive Peace Agreement, but that Devil is subjected to be known by our people, and is still going to be known because mistakes committed by SPLM/A are many. The SPLM/A is not longer the party that represents her constituencies, but the party that rep the opportune individuals who had found themselves at the top by mere luck! These opportunists are driving the SPLM to the dead end, and the question in the mind of SPLM/A supporters is who is driver. Members are expelt and recruited without stipulated models/rules/regualtion, SPLM can not fight for the right of the people, SPLM has failed to show democracy that they have been fighting for the last 20 years to the people, and the list is endless without mentioning the rapant corrupption by the bund of new opportunists who did not pay any price during the war and will not pay any price if thing any worse later, and her top cardes.

Lual Ding Wol, refused any participation as presidential advisor citing that the next coming government is not a government elected by the people and will not represent the people,as matter of fact he distance himself from that mess.
Lual Ding also referred to the vision and objective of the movement as democratic and a war of liberating the people subjected to denial of their rights, are political dispossess, they have no choice to execute their own affairs.
I have a quote from his article, "He went further to say that the "current members were not elected but were forcefully brought by the party against will of the local people for whom we took arms to liberate from denials to participate in their affairs".

"This was why we went to war against the central government to correct and transform it to be people’s government. Majority would have not gone to war if they knew we would adopt the same system," he adds".
Exactly, Lual Ding Wol has said every thing, SPLM is degrading its reputation by applying the same system that led to 22 years strugle, what had happened in the elections in all 10 states of South Sudan is shock, no rational person can say yes it was fair election.
Lual Ding Wol is pure democratic man no doubt, however, the reporter mentioned that he was close to John Garang during the time of strugle,to my surprise why did he not advise John Garang that time when John Garang was an absolute dictator in the movement? John Garang was the most dictator on the earth. Lual Ding seemed as rational human being, but he failed to advise John Garang. However his failure to advise John Garang to minimise his dictatorship does not diminish the well thought we have learned today from him, he spelled out the weaknesses of SPLM plainly, I hope if SPLM under Kiir and Riek Machar do have hear and are able to listen, this is a time to pay a good attention to the voices of the citizens.
      God bless Lual Ding Wol!

Declining from a position can not help us correct those errors. Comrade Lual Diing should accept the appointment but stand firm with others especially independent candidates who won positions and have the same vision like him to battle the problems. Sincerely, GoSS is not poor but it has dozens of elements who are thieves and its SPLA should be cautioned to respect the rights of citizens and foreigners who are in this country. The SPLA likes stuffs like being forceful, aggressive, over drinking, violent name it. MAUMAU.

I would like to ask southerners this single question, if they would think the freedom has come they are lying for their selves, freedom is too far way from south now, as we didn’t grantee referendum yet in coming 2011 if it will be corrupt by NCP or not no body knows, so that we are supposed to be awaiting our real battle patiently at the post referendum, which will be the final journey for the south struggle that is means two things will happen, independent and the battle of defensing an independent newly country from the ex-country, which is dreaming of taking back the south by force, and that task will surely need extremely SPLM/A or strong southerners parties who believe in real freedom not the current fake election. Other wise we will lose our dreaming freedom by dividing each others for the reason of recently useless election, as we know if we separated in 2011 the real election will come very sure after we have granted the south it belong to which place independent or unity of Sudan. there fore, every thing will be clear as the sun in the day light where every one will seek for his belonging rights.

I personally speaking to you i am not happy with running administration, but i believe in real freedom which its will be the result of referendum, that is why i would beg every one pardon to take a big long breathe and think about our children future, and leave our political differences behind us,as well as some people do in the government or out the government they their ambitious behind them for the sake of achieving our real freedom , but when we show our differences to the world wide its reflects our disqualification of having the real freedom.

Fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters we should be patient more enough to get our goal in 2011, other wise we are losing every thing if we don’t recognize as to be in your information there will be not any another referendum will be allowed for us again if we lost this opportunity or there will be not any revolution against this government again as they will take high measure to proven any new break away from any direction of Sudan , we should be patient enough to achieve our future goal and granted opportunity.

And why they got some much concerned about Independent candidates?-That means there must have be something wrong within the SPLM.

It has been so far so long that southern Sudan political leaders are always knownfor confusion , conflicts of interest and self centered whenver they reach almost to their success towards their designated vision. Just like Gen. lago exactly the same confusion when he almost achieve the south victory. I think we should know that are still under the north and if need to play a role of democrcy then there is still long way to go...,Lual should not allow himself to an element of confusion otherwise we heading no where.

What are they( Kiir, Machar) still saying now after all this revelation by Lualdit? Is he a fanatic to come up with that conclusion or Is he right to say it like the way Kiir and Machar spearhead this election? The odd of this SPLM ( Kiir, Machar) is they don’t get it what people don’t like. They are career politician who can let the entire south go downhill if it contradict their bona fida period. Does anyone every heard that they fired those corrupted and cronies official, absolutly not, because they ryhme on the same row. And the evident is luxury house in the midwest in the United States, other in Australia, swizaland, Brit , Kenya and Uganda. What are the monthly payment for those individual who buy houses with cash? Actually, there is no different with this SPLM and why people (Southerners 1983) rebel against Khartoum regime. When arrogant overreach the intend to do good, than people are with nothing but to rebel against the arrogance. This SPLM is now run by some dubious insane individual who care about nothing but themselves. How many billions, yes billions were pumpted into southern sudan by world donors in Oslo? How much were acrued by the oil revenue, not a single concrete project, No roads, no structural schools, Hospitals, but you can realize by the shape of their belly. No one can denied that are we? Was the independent candidate right that the election was rigged by the SPLM through fear and intimidation? I am not fonding for one side or the other, but I am distrubed when we mudslide our own people for political convenient and greed. Are they hidding again when the high ranking officials like Lualdit come out the closet with his frustration of the party? Another fallen hero in our patriotic front, what a shame brought to us by this "Junta-SPLM/A"!!!!!!!????????

It was crystal clear there was no transparency, fair or just election through out the country. But the crucial question is;where are those who stand in the face of regionalism, tribalism, and the weary warriors of our SPLA?No one could stand up and say loudly,FOUL; THE ELECTION IS RIGGED!!!!.???

When we joined SPLA since its iception, not SPLM, we have been fully aware of the consequences of our stand against the central Government in Khartoum, but we never been educated or instructed in any way to betray our people!!!how come from out of the blue,a sector,if i can define it properly or a group as the commons calls,to dictate us to manuver our destiny?and in what bases???.

The emerge of the independent contestants off SPLM,raised a big surprise and too much questions to all of us,who are keen to see SPLM leading us in the footsteps of our late Leader DR; John Garang, that we will never be marginalized or soever!!!!!!

The previous GOSS Budget shows that, there was 8 BN.US$ been recieved by the GOSS,but we recieved nothing coherent to basic human needs!!!!so where is the money gone???

This is a first multi-parties election, and it is the backbone of our political future as SouthernSudanese, whether we stay united or idependent. But the irregularities, logistical problems, intimidations and harrasement has marred it all over the region, setting a precedental political qoup in the name of Democracy.SPLA soldiers were carrying the voting process instead of the electorates,in favour of SPLM Candidates, against the will of their own people for whom they carried the arms to liberate from political slavery of the NorthSudan Governments.

Now i recognize Mr; Lam Akol Ajawin claim against SPLM, and aknowledge his demands for change. It’s very sad to loose trust in our liberators and national heros...So lts be ready to confront those who stole our will and votes, and the liberation struggle continues.Oyeeeee

For World Maker, this is going to be easy because those SPLM leaders who rigged the election are going to be taken to court and judge not those independent canditates whose their was votes were stolen will go to court. This is no longer their problem anymore them independent candidates but the problem of the southern Sudan whose their right was deny and turn down. This act of rigging election could have cause more chaos like what happened in Kenya two years. Those Kenyan government officials who were responsible for election fraud are now under court procedure ready be prosecute. That is the same thing going to happen to those splm leaders. Murlescrewed from Bor town is encouraging defection with his minority unionist group to form what?

Who will lead that? Pagan Amum or Rebecca Nyandeng or Deng Alor?

Or will you adopt Yasser Aram to lead it?

    Ahahahahahhaaaa..........

Please read the survey polling on Sudantribune, all those leaders are far behind Dr. Riek Machar who you say has no supporters. He is leading this communist Pagan by several points despite Pagan being backed up by northern unionists.

Lualdit you can’t die in office so good bye. you are too old and always controversials. you have done a poor job and you have achieved nothing for the last five years. this election is nothing compare to corruption that you are part of for the last five years. you have invested a lot of money in the USA and a big house in Nairobi and how will you going to pay for the bills and security if you didn’t steal the money. you want to spend and enjoy all the money you have stolen from the people of southern Sudan and that is why felt a shame to serve again. people of southern Sudan want development not just election. where is road, hospital, school and security? LRA still terrorizing our people in the south. you now try to make yourself a better man, but i don’t believed you anyway because you are part of the corrupted group. i am glad you left and don’t come back please.

Dear Baba Africa Lual-dit Ding Wol,

I am very really, impresssed today afternoon by your open minded talk if I am near to you, think I could offer you a double gifts because no one return you into your motherwomb while you were been a great man among SPLM high profile leaders.

You born to tell the truths that is kinds of advisor we needed, to tell things during the a day like you did on the spot to the public on the media not murmur or gossiping like other people there in Juba. My question was this were, were, were all these times why not help us early in the mess being done by DAMN PRESIDENT OF THE GOVERNMENT OF SOUTHERN SUDAN Salva Kiir Mayardit. Many thank Thon-kiir.

        Dear Thonkiir,

I believed most of those good advisors to the president like Gen. Lual might have done their best, but all in vain. Of cause if the president is surrounded by fools, now he may not be able to revese the self-appointed hungry majority.

Gen. Lual has given us the way, the truth and the life of a real democratic Sudan. I wish to promote him through MUJII of Congo to the position of President. The Holy Spirit will work through this great Man called Gen. Lual to liberate us from the SPLM self-centered sysytem of Governemnt.
We could advocate for the non-participation in this coming government, citizen be advised not to cooperate with those self-appointed Governors. Silence and bycott should be the rule inorder to make them fail. They must go to hell.

What else are you going to say, material leaders. Citizens were complaining across South Sudan that the elections were not free and fair, Yet those who are lost in the vision of the SPLM/SPLA could not accept. instead, they threat and torture the citizen with pretext of calling them Nyagat. Can you say the same to respected GOSS Presidential Advisor for Political Affairs, Lual Diing Wol?. My advise to GOSS president Kiir Mayar, if you didn’t distance yourself away from these guys who join the movement after CPA, then you are going to face it rough.
Gen like Athor, Dau and Gore can not be mistreated, if you really have vision of independent South Sudan.
    put your head on

        Dear readers

Lual diing becomes an old man who run out of good ideas, let him go home and leave the office to others, secondly Lualdit you are instigating peoples of southern Sudan to vote for unity which means that we are un able to rule ourselves, we don’t wants any southerner to associate with ARABS again even if Omer bring Arabs female to distribute them to all southerners free of charge. Enough is enough; we must create Independent County by ballets or bullets, Full stop

I think Lual is raising a good point here on how this election might have been rigged by the SPLM/A party going against people’s choices. However, I think Lual is now too old to carryout his daily work duty and it is time for him to retire. He just doesn’t want to admit it. I think he should be retire. I do not know what kind of advice he been giving Kiir about Taban in Bentiu. He’s one of the hypocrites behind Kiir for the last five years who kept Taban in power. Good luck on your retirement.

Mama Africa, you are right to be next advisor in the coming future government. You have advised enough, so you can give chance to others to advie on new things as far as South Sudan Referendum is concern. You either keep quiet or be active in the spiritual issues in the Church because of your wisdom.
My nation Southern Sudanese, enough is enough, let follow the foot step of our late Dr.John Garang who said, ’’ThINGS WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN’’

When other’s said SPLM has done something wrong, people jump up and say bad things about the critics. Now is Lual Diing a traitor, NCP funded or what?

Of course No! We accept criticism from some and we reject it from others.

              God help us!
