July 16, 2010 (KHARTOUM) — The Sudanese president Omer Hassan Al-Bashir said this week that he hopes that the next FIFA world cup will be won by his country’s soccer squad.

Addressing a crowd at the inauguration of a new stadium the Sudanese head of state vowed to support the youngsters and youth soccer teams in order to prepare them for world cup competitions.

"We will provide the environment so that we are represented in the next world cup similar to Spain" Bashir said.

Spain won the FIFA world cup hosted by South Africa last month and replaced Brazil at the top of the most recent FIFA World Ranking released on Wednesday.

"The next [world cup] final [game] will be between Sudan and Ghana....The next world cup will be taken by those dark Sudanese" Bashir said.

Sudan has never made to the world cup and qualified for the African Cup of Nations just once in three decades. It ranks 121 on the FIFA ranking of soccer teams worldwide.

It’s good to be over optimistic but winning world cup final requires more than just simple words of the mouth. To get to the world cup itself the team has to win their regular matches to qualify. My other question what does Al-Bashir meant by "those dark Sudanese"? Is he acknowledging that the Sudanese are finally Africans after years of denial?

Until you stop buying jets to kill the very people you want to win the world cup, you are just talking as a stupid dictator.

Our president outdoes himself every time with his grand announcements. What prevented Sudan from qualifying for a world in South Africa? Even the goddamn North Korean showed before being humiliated 7-0. Sudan is not as closed to the outside world as DPRK is but it has not produced a respectable team.

Instead of kissing Egypt’s team rear end and awarding them cars, you should invest that money into playing grounds for poor children who undoubtedly will be more motivated to make it in soccer.

I don’t think that his insult of calling us dark Sudanese or African will offend anyone, first we are proud of who we are, we are indigenous for this land in which you committed crimes in. nevertheless has a dark Sudanese been alleged of war crimes, we fight for our rights and freedom from albino aliens. Our reputation is genuine worldwide unlike you disgusting people. Mine about your future, Chinese are pulling back from supporting your perjury government, Obama has approve that justices must be achieved in Sudan and in addition Ocampo has tour the neighboring country to comply with international law. Where would you be criminal arab? would you live like owl feeding at night and sitting in cave on the day or surrender to ICC?

Your arrest will be a big celebration ever for all African nations. However the worse is that northern mongrels are putting themselves in trouble just because of you, thus after your execution still the ugly image will loom on them. This time neither durfur nor southern will pursuit unity with you, eventually you been fouling them as your cannon fodder to fight southern for the whole war. Mr towel head I don’t see that your people include yourself as any piece of respect like African people. Look how your bandits arabs from Somali terrorise Kampala during the worldwide. Since your among the blacklist countries in CIA I will not be surprise.

Haaaaaaa, how can they compete even on level of Africa and these North Arabs want to Islamize the sports. Immam in the mosque said; " Islam must be implemented in every day activities, even in football, other sports. when your friend pass a ball for you; you must thank him: Barak allaha feek jajak allah kheeran. If he score a goal instead of shouting gaoool; say Mashallaaaaaaaaaaah". For the refree, if there is a foul there must be islaah albain; all the two parties must sit to discuss the issue and forgive each other and then resume the game". On the picture above Bashir before he kick the ball he said Bismillah allahumma naweeta an asajil goon!!!!

I think the Mr. President Al-Bashir had weir dream lastnight. Sudan soccer has long way to go to become a world champion. They also need to win the Africa nation cup and qualified for the FIFA within African.

Do Bashiir mean dark skin or backward Sudan and Ghana.

Well, if he means dark skin, then he means south Sudan and Ghana and i am proud of that. But if on the other hand he means backwardness, then i am sorry Ghana is not back ward as the case is with Sudan under Arab hostile rule.

We Sudanese also have to prepare to win the world cup(court) between ICC and AU venue at the Hague which is due to be announced.

      Dear Mr. Sudan Virus,

I agree with you on this point on Bashir prediction on the next world cup Africans qualifiers. South Sudan VS Ghana and continue to compete for the world cup final stage on July 10th 2014, as well Northern Sudan top dog VS ICC top dog with no count out and faults count anywhere. Interested isn’t it? Well, I guess he won’t continue to kick the ball that much base on the top refrees decision for Al-Bashir team violating FIFA rules.

Bashir should practice better ball kick than what I saw here on the webbsite.
