This change will bring chaos. You can’t dissolve the whole govt. I believe he is drunk. Let’s see what happens next....I hope they can over throw him.longing for that day.

Why are these documents displayed here for the world to see? What is it good for? I still believe that wisdom can be exercised by Salva Kiir and people around him who are writing these documents. Don’t make mistakes that can put generations and generations into misery. Arab is still in Sudan! Remember what Garang used to say "Keep your friends close but your enemies closer". Think carefully.

        Agar,
Please, let Kim Deng and Wang hang themselves for that Riek Machar was fire from is position. What chaos are you talking about? I have been telling you that Riek has step on president Mayardit tail and you fail to understand the logic. The vic can not be against his boss in the same party, that prove that Riek is seeking different agenda. Now, Riek is fired, you better keep quit and go follow.

Agar From Rumbek, Agar who are those to create chaos under this change? President Kiir Mayardit has done the great decision ever he did since he took office by elimination 10 ministers & 8 Deputies .18 positions money will go toward development for those whom their fathers & mothers brought us the freedom. This change will create strong balance in our system and now it’s for youth to join gov.

It’s was overdue decision it should has been done long time ago.
Let Dr Riek form his party SSIM and Pagan Amum with SPLM1 to challenge current government. South Sudan was has no opposition because Dr Lam is a dead alive opposition leader.
All readers, is just a political maneuver within nothing do with us ordinary, let top leadership sort out and let wait for general election to vote for whoever.

        To all ordinary people.
Calm down, they lists of 75-1 is about to be revealed through this frictions within. Dr Riek and Pagan Amum are still to be contestants in different parties, so that is not an end of their careers except within SPLM.
We all have choice to vote for whoever we like to be next president in 2015 because this fighting within can not let government progress to next level.

Waw! No jok this time, I know many will join yau yau team very soon and this will motivate yau yau movement since he told many and they failed to understand the contexts of S.Sudan government. Now kiir is no longer drunk, he issued the degrees on Tuesday. All thieves are gone with their deputies but this will make an end to the corrupt and rotten SPLM system that is rotten from its core.

Being in politics is like being a football coach. You have to be smart enough to understand the game and dumb enough to think it important.
We don’t know still wat will come next after diz.

      Code Man,
This changes came too late after the system has been infested and allowed to rot to the core. But to me this does nt mark the end of corruption, let’s wait to see if the president is going to overhaul the cabinet wholistically w/o recycling in some of the most corrupt ministers into his new cabinet. Yes, this time Kiir is not drunk, but he may be tipsy.

    Mr. President, well done!
Whatever the case my be, it is absolutely correct decision. I was wondering how our leaders will bring development to this nation while they are running the government concurrently.
Better to be honest than succeeding by fraud. Riak never respect you since you appointed him. He who is not courageous enough to risk will accomplish nothing to us South Sudanese.
    I Love it!

Some commentators do not understand that the President of Republic of South Sudan acted under the transitional constitution to relieve his VP Riek and all ministers and their deputies. This has nothing to do political straggle because the VP Riek has made a big mistake in criticizing his party’s president. There is no pardon for that act of disrespect in any government around the world.

Dr. Machar is now as an outsider, he’s in position to be a good challenger. You can’t keep insulting same gov’t you run as VP for 10 years while expecting your job. You resign from gov’t you think is failing....

      Kenyang,
you stated an important point. Yes, Dr. Riek is right in his statements of SPLM being corrupt, however, he is a SPLM insider and a vice president as a matter of fact. He should have not challenge and criticise his own party; as a he should have acted as a member of the team in the first place.....that means fail or succeed to deliver to public together with cohorts.....continue....

    • 24 July 2013 22:55, by Paul

...the normal thing that one does when unsatisfied with one’s party is "RESIGNATION." If he had resigned earlier as a result of his unsatisfection with how the Party was running the country, he would have gained an unfathomable respect among the South Sudanese public....that is nature of politics

Paul, I think you are absolutely correct. Riek would have gain popularity if he would have resigned upon criticizing Kiir’s actions and handling of government affairs.

Guys calm down. Two things our going to happened inside the Republic, Either Salva Kiir will be the most popular in South Sudan or he will go down terribly. If he hold down to power, the South Sudanese citizens will be witnessing the beginning of a real development because the corruptors are being removed to pave the way for a real development. But if that does not happened the president will lose
