Garang receives governor of Bank of Sudan

KHARTOUM, July 19, 2005 (SUNA) — First Vice President John Garang De Mabior received at his office at the Council of Ministers Secretariat General Tuesday the Governor of the Bank of Sudan, Sabir Mohamed Al-Hassan.

Sabir briefed him on the steps made by the bank in the context of implementation of the provisions of the Peace Agreement.

He reviewed steps for issuance of the new banknotes and establishment of branch for the central bank in South Sudan.
