Malaysia’s Samudra to provide oil tools for White Nile

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 15 (AFX) — Kejuruteraan Samudra Timur Bhd has accepted a letter of award from the White Nile (5B) Petroleum Operating Co Ltd for the provision of tubular handling and running tools services.

In a statement to Bursa Malaysia, the company said the contract is for a period of two years with an option to extend for another year.

White Nile is the operator of Blocks 5A, 5B and 8 in onshore Sudan.

No other details were provided.
