Saudi king hails Sudan’s efforts to achieve peace
Sept 13, 2005 (JEDDAH) — King of Saudi Arabia Abdallah Bin-Abd-al-Aziz has praised Sudan’s intensive efforts to achieve peace and forming the government of national unity
During his meeting today with Bashir’s presidential advisor Ahmad Ali Imam in Jeddah, the king stressed the importance of political participation and the achievement of development in Sudan.
He said Saudi Arabia would cooperate with Sudan to implement all the agreements signed between the two countries.
For his part, Ahmad Ali Imam expressed Sudan’s appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s major achievements in the economic and social fields, and stressed the need for joint work so as to fulfil people’s expectations in Sudan and Saudi Arabia.
