Ethiopia seeks Somalia disintegration – minister
Sept 17, 2005 (MOGADISHU) — The minister of trade of the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia, Muse Sudi Yalahow, has said that Ethiopian was opposed to restoration of peace in Somalia.
According to the Somali independent Shabeelle, He further said that the Ethiopian government was making efforts on how the Somali Federal Government could be disintegrated, since it was opposed to peace in Somalia.
The minister was speaking at a luncheon which was held by his national security counterpart, Muhammad Qanyare Afrah.
The meeting, in Mogadishu, was attended by members of the two councils, parliament and cabinet, politicians and intellectuals.
Speaking during this meeting, the minister of national security, Mohamed Qanyare Afrah, said that members of the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia, who are based in Mogadishu, would not give up privileges stipulated in the constitution.
