Danish defence minister to arrive in Sudan 28 November

Nov 27, 2005 (KHARTOUM) — The Danish defence minister, Gade Soeren will arrive in the country on Monday 28 November evening. He will be at the head of a high -level delegation.

The visit aims at signing a joint memorandum of understanding in regard to Denmark’s pledges during the Oslo donors conference.

The Danish minister is expected to meet the minister of defence, Maj-Gen Abdelrahim Mohamed Hussein and the first vice-president of the republic, Lt-Gen Salvia Kiir Mayardit.

The Danish delegation is also expected to meet the Danish troops which works as part of the UN team in Sudan.
