Sudanese vice-president, German state minister hold talks in central Kenya

NAIVASHA, Kenya, Dec 07, 2003 — The [Sudanese] first vice-president, Ali Uthman Muhammad Taha, has held talks at his residence in Naivasha [central] Kenya with the German state minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The two officials discussed the current Sudanese peace process and bilateral relations. The German official expressed her satisfaction with the efforts being made to bring about a comprehensive peace [in Sudan].
The German minister confirmed her government’s readiness to support the country after the singing of the peace accord.
