Dec 5, 2006 (BOR) — China has offered to construct a secondary school that is expected to accommodate up to 1000 students in Jonglei state.
Jonglei state Minister of Education Antipas Ayiei told Sudan Radio Service last Thursday in Bor that the Chinese government has promised to foot all the bills of constructing the school.
He said a delegation from China is expected in Jonglei later this month to assess the costs of constructing the school and decide on the exact date to start building.
The Minister added that the state has not yet decided where in Jonglei the school will be built.
