I would like to congratulate our President Kiir, Minister Dr. Monytuil and Dr. Maker for this historic work. I am pleased that our President and his entire Government have made serving the people of the South as their priority. For instance, President Kiir was supposed to be in Kenana (Near Kosti) yester day to attend the federal council of ministers meeting where the whole meeting was moved to Sudan’s largest sugar factory, the world largest one unit Sugar complex. However the meeting was devoted to discuss one commodity “Sugar”, but kiir did not attend, he instead sent H.E Hon. John Lok the GoSS minister of Energy Mining and Industry to attend. Hon. Lok rightly voiced the concerns of the people of South Sudan on the borrowed equipments, Machines tractors of Malut, and Mangala Sugar factories which were used in Kenana Sugar complex, but yet to be returned to the South. President Bashir made no answer but brook into laughter. Because he doesn’t wants to return the borrowed equipments. We should appreciate a job well done by GoSS and we should criticize constructively, any wrong doing after all, they are all human like us they are liable of making mistakes. I have been a constant visitor to Juba before and after Signing CPA, especially to the hospital as a humanitarian worker, I was so sad to see Juba teaching hospital in such an appalling condition. It was only rendering emergency services carried out by ICRC. There were no beds to be shared between nurses and patience but now, with GoSS stepping in; the Hospital has now regained it good shape as a regional hospital. I would wish that the current Minster could form an investigation team to look into the proposed project of Late Dr. Garang Hospital which was donated by the Norwegian Government but has not been built. GoSS, well don.
