February 6, 2009 (CAIRO) — A delegation of the government of Southern Sudan (GOSS) led by minister of regional cooperation discussed yesterday with Egyptian foreign minister Cairo’s contribution for the South Sudan development.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul-Gheit discussed at a meeting held on Thursday with Benjamin all projects and programs of cooperation between Egypt and the Government of Southern Sudan.
The two sides discussed aid offered by Cairo to contribute to development and reconstruction efforts in South Sudan, said Hossam Zaki the spokesperson of the Egyptian foreign ministry. “This is done in support for the comprehensive peace deal signed between Khartoum and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement,” he added.
Further, Abul-Gheit directed the Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with Africa to outline a comprehensive program to support South Sudan’s health and communications sectors, especially that the Egyptian clinic in Juba is receiving more patients by the day.
Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak visited South Sudan on November 10 for the first time where he held talks with Sudanese First Vice President Salva Kiir Mayardit on the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement that Egypt is one of its international guarantors.
Mubarak said “Egypt will open hospitals, schools and a university in South Sudan”. The Egyptian president further said his brief trip aimed at supporting unity between North and South Sudan.

Aids with string attach is what can’t opted for
With no doubt Egyptian Government aimed at united Sudan for the sake of River Nile not because there is something special with unity government that had been in existent since creation and had never benefited Southern Sudanese in one way or the other so let “Egypt stop her aids” unless there is no political will behind its.
I only encourage relationship between southern Sudan and Egypt that is free from gains, for co-existent and good polices between the two countries but not policies that may take back the mistreated black people of Southern Sudan

This is a fake lie competely. How come that Egyptians people try to be our friends for the moment when they heard that Omar Bashir is going to be arrested by ICC and they kill our people last time in their country?. Egyptians people are our great enemies who are used by the Khartoum Government in order to fight the Southerners in Sudan so that they can get a share of oil and expand their business relationship with Sudan Government.
I really condemned indeed the coming of Egyptians people and tied being made by Southern Sudan in order to allow these people to work in Sudan for the betterment of our country. These people are really full of negligences and they are supposed to be leave alone. Southern Sudan Ministers are suppose to learned about what happens during the time when children of Isreal were in Egypt.
I hope they should not be our best friends completely, because having Egyptians to be the Southern Sudan’s ally, is better than having none at all. I don’t trusted these people. Maybe they can come and adhered themselves with the Khartoum Govenment. I know that they are the people who do bombardment to Southern Sudan during the war time, especially in year of 1992 untill 2002.
I urges Barnaba Marial Benjamin, to loose the tie of forming a great relationship with these Egyptian people. We don’t needs to get a long again with Arabs people.

First of all,let me give my hand claps to Mr.Barnaba Marial for his tireless effort in trying to grab number of investors to South Sudan.Mr.minister,it is not easy task but you must work with clear vision especially when dealing with these people eyeing our land to revive the already rejected Jonglei Canal project, which they push forward in objectives to intoxicate Southerners by the so called investment. As for as your position is concern, try to hunt more beyond your limits to trap more investors roaming aroung with brief cases to Country as long as they agree with investment policy of Goss.
