Both sides have signed an agreement on ways they together would further scale up their existing diplomatic ties at bilateral, regional and international level.

According to a joint communiqué issued yesterday, both countries have signed an agreement over a plan of action that would be implemented within the coming 3 years.

The agreements were signed between Ethiopia’s ministry of foreign affairs, Seyoum Mesfin and his Sudanese counterpart, Mohamed El-Samani El-Wasila.

Other agreements were also inked on best ways peoples of both countries would be benefited from the existing multilateral cooperation.

The arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) not only is a double standard as clear as it is, but also against the interest of the people of Sudan, said the statement. Both countries reject the decision once again it further said. Adding, the ICC decision undermines the ongoing efforts to bring in Sudan in particular and peace destabilize regional stability.

The Sudanese foreign affairs state minister, El-Wasila, stressed that such strong cooperation between neighbor countries is crucial to confront regional and international concerns that could arise.

“The existing cooperation between Ethiopia and Sudan is exemplary to other countries of the region” El-Wasila told reports.

He added “African nation’s need such joint cooperation also to tackle other major threats like, the international financial crises and global warming.”

The bilateral relationship between Ethiopia and Sudan is getting momentum on various sectors from time to time.

Last week an Ethiopian delegation led by Tigray’s regional governor, Tsegay Berhe has paid a visit to bordering Kassala and Gedarif provinces of Sudan.

The Ethiopian delegation has visited development activities carried out in Kassala and Gedarif.

During their stay last week, both parties have reached an agreement that enable them to further work together in trade, health, security and infrastructure sectors.

Furthermore, respective regional officials from both sides have agreed to complete the ongoing construction of rood and bridge that links the two states till next Ethiopian year.

Ethiopia, Sudan agree to enhance joint diplomatic action
Good morning Southerners, We have to be mature enough about the entired politics interms of coordination and expressing our bilateral relation with others countries.
I would like to encourage all of you guys who are always like being comments unneccessary things on the website insulting your leaders and side with tribal things.
Let us all stand as one people, one country(GoSS) and if our leaders are not doing what we are expected for them to do, please is better for the south sudanese to stand and let them know. Let us unite ourselves and please don’t insult our leader though they are not doing what we are expected for them to do so. If we are all talking about ”Corruption, lack of transparency, development, instability of security- tribal conflicts(with out response from GOSS) etc” those are right things for the citizen to express.

Secondly, I can comment restrictely to our GoSS official about Ethiopia and Sudan bilateral, regional and international agreement that was signed by the two countries. Do GoSS have representatives in that meeting? If not there is way that those Arabs to held a meeting with Ethiopia with out represenative from the South as we all have been in the GoNU. What is that agreement about? please Mr. Kiir be alert of all those bilateral agreement, let us not give those Arabs chance.

Many thanks and may God bless all of you.

I am not happy with this dipolmatic made between Ethiopia and Arabs. Sinerely speaking these guys have actually forgotten Darfurian being murdered especially children and women saying that they refused to let Bashir go to ICC.
If he is exactly innocent, why not him to go and defend himself in the court like that Darfurian rebel.
Again am remembering what happened in 1992 when we SPLA left Ethiopia. You, who can remember the casualities and challenges that had occured???
I know the three yrs they have mentioned is not the right time of that planning.
And the plan itself is for we this generation not Kiir and others elders because they know how taugh they are.
We this generation are in danger!!!!!
Lets be unite and see what is the next plan from Arab about us. Southern Sudan not Yet in peace!!! not yet!! not yet!!

    Mr.Wasila

In this communique,al wasila is telling the world that Ethiopia is going to stand for Al Bashir even if it means war,it very clear.

Another point,it means that the united sudan is going to be compulsory in and out.

Thirdly,it means blocking all the foreign routes for GOSS,to make it clear,we all read the Iritrean president’s criticism on GOSS earlier this week that CORRUPTION is no more a secret in southern sudan.

With all these games what remains? It another dawn revealing the third phase of war between GOSS and khartoum simply GOSS is being given all the devils to choose from i.e 1.no succession

2.no accurate census result and no recount in this case

3.wealth sharing is going to be based on that fake population[8.2]

4.no equal power sharing i.e declared at gun point

All the above mentioned points have one thing in common,THEY ARE ALL FATAL.
And should GOSS refuse to comply with such conditions, what will come in mind at the first place is war,and if war, where is the backup? The neighbours who have just been diverted.
This means square one,the clear example is the Sri lankan TAMOUL TIGER which was crashed this week!!!!!!!!!
