April 16, 2010 (RUMBEK) – Vote sorting and counting operations begun on Friday at police headquarters in Rumbek for the ballots of 20 polling stations in the capital of Lakes states.
“We are opening today a counting, in the headquarters of police here, we have 20 stations for Rumbek town which is constituency number 8,” said Victoria Alual Samuel Aru, a member of High Election Committee in Lakes state. She further said that the counting will continue for three days.
Victoria, in a press conference held at the police headquarters, said the state electoral body received complaints of irregularities that judges are examining. However, she rejected allegations of that voter civic education led voters to confusion.
So, far a member of SPLM filed a complaint to the NEC complaining that Salva Kiir Mayardit photo was distorted and Kiir hat and bread were remove by NEC organizers. But she denied that saying “this is not correct”.
Police Bridger Chol Alath Ajak, commissioner of police Lakes state, said security forces are deployed to protect the counting center adding that concerned people as party agents, observers are invited to witness the sorting and counting operations.
Chol called for calm and urged to accept the final result of the polling.
“Everybody should be very calm and wait for result, it is like football, if somebody fails to win then he can just wait next chance and people should be patient,”said brig Chol Alath.

Gatwech,
I told you before that CDR Yasir Arman will still be there as SPLM presidential candidate against Omer Bashier.
You always smesh your face with bias but the truth always revealed. I told you that his box will be still there and people will still vote for him across Sudan because SPLM withdraw him less than 45 days, and you seriously deny my sentiment.
See, a fool learn through eyes not ears. Now, i am happy indeed. FYI, this result are for one county just asection of lake State. Wait for greater lake State and you will puzzled.
Thanks

It is even troubling to me for Bashir and Lam to receive any votes in the South. People easily forger the harm these people have done to us. This shows that there are those who, Like Lam,still accept the status of being a second class citizen in Sudan, and so they wasted their votes by voting for Bashir and Lam. Shame on all those who voted for these hyenas.
