New Sudanese government to include those who agree with its programme

May 24, 2010 (KHARTOUM) — Sudanese presidential assistant reaffirmed today that the upcoming government would not be a coalition government adding it could include people who agree with its proposed program.

nafi_ali_nafi.jpgSpeaking to the media after the first sitting of the newly elected Assembly National, Nafie Ali Nafie stated the new government will be a government of programme and united vision, adding any one who shares its programme can participate even if he is not member of any party.

Nafie’s remarks confirm statements had been made by the Chairman of the ruling National Congress Party (NCP) and President of the Republic Omer Hassan Al-Bashir last month following his election excluding formation of a coalition government with opposition forces that boycotted the elections.

The NCP deputy chairman Nafie Ali Nafie said that the formation of post-election government will be based on the campaign pledges made by President Bashir.

The opposition forces called for a conference to reach a consensus on different issues like Sudan’s unity, Darfur conflict to be implemented by a national government.

The National Assembly dominated by the NCP MPs, on Monday, elected the former speaker Ahmed Ibrahim Taher, as speaker of the chamber of representatives with 383 votes, as another candidate from Turabi’s party, PCP, got 26 votes among 420 MPs who participated in the election.

Minimizing the absence of the opposition parties from the National Assembly, Nafie said “our idea of the opposition is nontraditional” stressing that the government would not reject propositions made by the few opposition MPs.

Echoing his statement, Taher told the assembly what is important is the conduct of the government which can also be censured by NCP members of the parliament if it does not implement the programme.

New Sudanese government to include those who agree with its programme
He is speaking the truth. They upcoming government will be Arab based cabinet set up to implement Arab program against African people.

Southern Sudanese should prepared for war in self depend because Nafie is among many Arab die-hearts and inborn-rights who can only understand the action then words. He is alleged to be appointed 2nd Vice President replacing Taha.

I am sure NCP proposed programs includes Jihad, Genocide against Darfurian and Southerners and non cooperation with international communities among others.

But all can only be well if Southerners unite themselves and fight for the common good.
