Bashir dispatches envoy to Jordan and Syria
January 9, 2011 (KHARTOUM) – The Sudanese president Omer Hassan Al-Bashir dispatched his adviser Ibrahim Ahmed Omer to Jordan and Syria as a personal envoy, Sudan state media reported today.
On Monday, Sudan 2nd Vice president Ali Osman Taha will fly to Saudi Arabia for talks with officials there.
It is not clear of this all part of a coordinated push by Sudan towards the Arab world following the commencement of referendum process today during which Southerners are expected to decide on establishing their own state.
Arabs have constantly been proponents of Sudan’s unity though only few countries have been actively working to resolve the conflicts in Sudan.

Mr President are you also dispatching personal envoy to African countries?
The latest development would need you to engage Northern political parties domestically in order to agree on a political framework. Dispatching envoy to abroad will not have impact on situation at this moment. Please dispatch them domestically to meet other political parties.

No way out again Mr.Barshir, though you send more out for visiting your Arab countries regarding referendum issues I think this is too lat for you to do that. Please don’t waste your resources for visting many Arab countries just for gossiping against the success of South Sudan Referendum.
