March 23, 2011 (BOR) – The minister of physical infrastructure in Jonglei state, Peter Manawe Peter Gatkuoth, travelled to Saudi Arabia on Monday to pitch or funding of road construction, agriculture, education and health projects worth 48.5 million dollars from the Saudi Arabia based Islamic Development Bank (IDB).

The minister, who also visited Saudi Arabia in January this year said before he left that he was being sent as a delegated by the state government to present the projects to the IDB to be funded after approval by state authorities.

According to Manawe, the road constructions projects in the proposal are worth 32 million dollars and other projects on agriculture, health and education amount to 16.5 million dollars.

Manawe, who holds the office under the ticket of National Congress Party (NCP), the ruling party in the mainly muslim north Sudan, said the state government has a plan to build new state civil hospital, new schools and support local agricultural production besides roads construction.

Sudan’s South where people mainly believe in Christianity and local African beliefs, is due to become independent in July after a referendum held as part of a 2005 peace agreement. Decades of war have left the region severely underdeveloped.

Jonglei has a very poor road network. Many roads become impassible during the rainy season that starts in May each year.

A south Sudanese roads construction company, Rhino Stars Roads Construction Compan,y based in Juba, was contracted by the Multi-Donor Trust Funds (MDTF) to build a road from Bor to Mathiang in Baidit Payam to ease transportation between Bor and other counties in northern Jonglei.

In a visit on March 18 to the site where Rhino Stars Construction Company is working, Manawe said the state government appreciated the company for the work that had been done, saying the Jonglei will continue to work with indigenous companies to improve the poor standard of roads in the country .

Rhino Stars manager, Bol Ajuong Kuol, told Sudan Tribune that his company was given 30 km from Bor to Mathiang, saying the company is expected to finish the remaining 15 km in five weeks.

Jonglei signed a contract with Eyat Roads Construction Company to elevate the 28 km road that connect Bor town to Makuach Payam [district]. Eyat Company, which promised to finish the road before the end of April, begun working on it March 18, from Bor main roundabout heading to Makuach.

Eyat Company is a Sudanese Roads Construction Company based in Khartoum and was formed in 2004.

Minister also said his ministry is now opening up new roads within Bor in areas that were not surveyed in preparation to make them ready to be allotted to local people.

Manawe said 700 people were displaced by roads adding that his office will give at least 100 plots to them with a maximum family size of 8 people per plot.

He also said his office has adopted a computerized system of controlling land allotment, asserting that personal details including finger prints and pictures will be recorded in the system to avoid land grabbing, double plots and false clams.

“We have now got a computerized system to register those who took plots officially with details to avoid false clams”, Manawe said.

All sick-head Internet babies, stop all your tribalism virus and come to realty that South Sudan is not an isolated island in this world.
Don’t be fooled by the title of the article that the Minister is going to beg for funds. We have land that we want to utilize and others have money which they want to invest. This is the point here. The world of today is run by interests and cooperation, even you can work with the Devil if you have some interest of common benefits.
Any funds that Saudis will give to Junglei State for Roads construction would be paid back in a long run and it remains as a debt. Otherwise, you have been dominated by your tribal sentiments and hatred if you are criticizing the Minister’s mission to Saudi Arabia.

For you running backs to the Arabs country to beg like a dog whiles you have lots of problems in the state. Shame on you Minister! You better get your ass back to the state in order to solve your own difficulties. If your Mom cannot do it by her own, who doing thinks can do for you?

For those who are still using Ngundeng ideologies, please be inform! Ngundeng had shameful things to be said about him. First,

He was not a Prophet but a profit to his royalist in Nuer.
He had many names according to his activities in many parts of South Sudan.
He was a Cannibal animal according to Nuer man who doesn’t need to be mentioned
His first name was Ngundeng-meaning that he was send by God.
After he gone wild and ran away.
His name changed to be Gatluakmanguel in Nuer dialect.
He ate many Nuer men and women in Nuer Land
Dinka. His name was Manyang e Juet.
He ate many children, animal claviers and cows’s bulls in Dinka Land.
Equatoria with different languages including English and Arabic
    His name was Tiger

The Nuer man who refused to be target by Ngundeng’s salves pointed out that. Ngundeng had no father or mother but the Devil who came out in the River Nile in a form of fish, when the Nuer boys want for fishing. They fish for so many hours and they caught nothing, when the boys get tied and ready to go back home. One of them told other guys that there was a fish ate his hook lastly, the boy convinced other friends to tried one more time! Shortly after he putted on snail body on the hook, he had thrown it into Nile River. Immediately, Ngundeng was caught. The boy was attempting to pull the Fish Ngundeng out in the river but it was difficult for him to do so, then he called his associates to pull Ngundeng on the shore. They brought it out and they were smile some of them were told to go and collect firewood in order for the young men to roast their fish.
Unfortunately! The Fish Ngundeng changed into big snake! And the boys ran away from it, the boys thought that they were dreaming and they came back for the second times. The Snake Ngundeng light it body and become bright as well as electricity light. They ran home and they spread the news to the community, when the Nuer elders came to the place where Ngundeng was pulled. It was still there as snake with it light. People gather together around it and started asking question how did this happen? The Snake Ngundeng changed into human being and told people not to run away. All of them were shocking and scary to death except Human Ngundeng who perform such witchcraft. things “Come down, come down now!” The Human Ngundeng said. Who are you? The Nuer elders asked him. I am Nyajok_ which mean woman devil! The Human Ngundeng answer! She knew her own physical appearance as she is a hermaphrodite. (A person with both the organs of a man and a woman) Wow! Brothers and sisters of Nuer I am sorry for your Profit. Nyajok Ngundeng was not a Prohet? It was your profit to cheat people for his power but It was not a Prophet? It was a Satan?
