September 20, 2011 (KHARTOUM) – The Sudanese president Omer Hassan Al-Bashir has issued a degree appointing a new governor for the country’s unrest-hit southern state of Blue Nile, state media reported on Tuesday.

Lieutenant-general Al-Hadi Bushra was named governor of Blue Nile which has been racked by clashes between Sudan’s army (SAF) and fighters of the armed opposition Sudan People’s Liberation Movement North since 1 September.

Bushra will take over from the state’s interim military ruler who was appointed following the declaration of a state of emergency in Blue Nile and sacking of the state’s elected governor and the SPLM-N’s chairman Malik Aggar.

The new appointee is a former oppositionist who was associated with the National Umma Party of former prime minister Al-Sadiq al-Mahdi.

He left the country after the 1989’s coup which brought Al-Bashir to power, at which point he was serving as a director of military intelligence in the army.

However, he later made peace with the government and returned to Sudan in 1996.

Since that point, he served several stints in the government, including as a minister of roads and bridges and governor of some states.

    TO ALL JUNGLE BRED,

Sooner or later we will send you back to your native land deep into the jungle. According to a well known British Historian Dinka migrated from Kenya, Congo and Uganda into South Sudan during the 18th Century. Sudan will provide every possible help to all marginalized poor tribes in South Sudan to get rid of these evil people and kick them back to where they belong, your days are numbered and you can no longer occupy the land of our grand fathers. Since your cursed migration you brought nothing good except all kinds of evils into our sacred land.

This situation experienced by our people of Abyei, Southern Kordofan and southern Blue Nile states in the Republic of Sudan, would have been avoided if the self-centred SPLA/M didn’t chose the separation of Southern Sudan over the Unity of the country!

Now, Let SPLA/M stop chatting rubbish and being delusional about the so-called New Sudan vision if SPLA/M is too weak to provide military back up to those suffering populations otherwise, the SPLA/M is just victimizing them for nothing!

    Dear SLLA supporter,
It is to early for them including Abyei Dinka to fight for they sided with North for all these years of struggling for ROSS.
We started in 1955 and the achievement kick in in 2011.
Let them fight and there is no relationship with separation of South .We told Nubian and Funj that Arab is not good and still many of them were siding with NCP.ROSS is country solo with it own administration and perspectives not to bother about cowards funj.
ARabs were opressing all regardless of unity. They must pick arms and fight like the way we lost many heros on process of independence .
    Thanks.
