Sudan peace talks on ceasefire continue in Naivasha
NAIROBI, July 4, 2004 (SUNA) — Talks on comprehensive cease-fire arrangements between Government of Sudan and Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) continue in Naivasha, Kenya.
Joint meetings began for reviewing the outcome of subcommittees which were set up by each party separately in order to reach a common vision on the issues discussed.
Following the opening of these talks on June 27, five committees were formed by each party to debate a number of issues.
July 19th was set for concluding this round of talks.
