Sudan to participate in Donors conference

KHARTOUM, May 22, 2005 (SUNA) — The State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Al-Tigani Salih Fedail, is due to head the government’s delegation for participation at the Donors’ Conference which will be held in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, on Thursday.

The conference, which will be chaired by the UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan, and Chairman of the African Union’s Commission, Alfa Omar Konare, will discuss the logistic support that could be extended by the donors in support of the African Union’s decision to increase the number of the African forces in Darfur.
