Salva Kiir appointed as Vice-President of govt of Southern Sudan

KHARTOUM, July 18, 2005 (SUNA) — The President of the Government of Southern Sudan, John Garang De Mabior, has issued a decree appointing Cdr. Salva Kiir Mayardit as Vice-President of the Government of Southern Sudan.
