French foreign minister expected to visit Sudan on 28 July

KHARTOUM, July 25, 2005 (SUNA) — French Minister of Foreign Affairs Philippe Douste-Blazy is to begin a two-day official visit to Sudan on Thursday .

He will meet Foreign Minister Mustafa Osman Ismail and other senior officials.

The visit is to deal with bilateral relations, developments in the country following signing of the Interim Constitution and review the situations in Darfur.

The two ministers will hold a joint press conference at the premises of the Foreign Ministry.
