Bush offers condolences to Sudanese president

KHARTOUM, Aug 9, 2005 (Sudan Tribune) — President George W. Bush called Omer Al-Beshir, the Sudanese president, to offer him condolences for the of the Sudanese Frist Vice President John Garang.

The official news Agency (SUNA) said the US President expressed satisfaction over the progress of implementation of the peace agreement.

President Al-Bashir thanked the US President, affirming the importance of the support of the international community and US to Sudan in the implementation of the peace agreement.
