US foreign policy expert to host talk at Sudanese university

Aug 24, 2005 (Khartoum) — The embassy of the USA, in collaboration with the Peace Research Institute – University of Khartoum, is to host a talk on “The global grand strategy of the United States” by a leading expert on US foreign policy.

The talk will be presented by Mr Walter Russell Mead, member of the Council on Foreign Relations in New York City. Mr Walter is a Henry A Kissinger Senior Fellow in US Foreign Policy.

The talk will be given at the University of Khartoum, Sharja Hall on Saturday, 27 August, at 7.30 p.m. [local time].

Also, during Walter Mead’s visit to Sudan, 23-29 August, he will deliver talks at the National Center for Diplomatic Studies and at Al-Ahfad Women University.
