Eritrean embassy refuses to grant entry visa to Sudan’s Beja Congress official

Aug 26, 2005 (Sanaa) — In a new political development, sharp differences have emerged between the Eritrean embassy in Sanaa and an official of the Beja Congress party.
A reliable source told the Sudanese Media Centre [SMC] that the Eritrean embassy in Sanaa has refused to grant entry visa to an official of the Beja Congress, Babikir Muhammad Ahmad kandubu [fourth element phonetic] to participate in a technical session organized by the UN in Eritrea. The source said that the Beja Congress has decided to contact the Eritrean government and present an official complain against the Eritrean embassy in Sanaa through its official in Asmara.
