Sudan and Uganda keen on bolstering ties

Aug 31, 2005 (Khartoum) — Sudan and Uganda have affirmed their keenness to bolster the cooperation and the relations between them as well as the mutual understanding between them in different issues.

This came when the Ugandan president, Yoweri Museveni, received recently the new ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Sudan to Uganda, Hasan Jad-al-Karim.

The meeting discussed progress of the bilateral relations and reflected the sharing of identical views between the two countries in different issues, especially regarding peace, security and stability at the joint border area.
