Report : Aid is failing to meet mental health and women’s health needs of Darfur’s refugees

Sep 1, 2005 — A report by the international Medical Corps says that humanitarian organisations are failing to meet the mental health and women’s health needs of Darfur’s displaced populations, with conditions being particularly bad in southern Darfur, where 2.3 million people rely on aid to survive.

UN officials consider it the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.
