Festival winner Darfur images take photojournalism prize

Sept 5, 2005 (Perpignan) — Danish photographer Jan Garup’s striking work, taken in Sudan’s strife-torn western Darfur region, won the Visa d’Or daily press category at the Visa Pour l’Image international photojournalism festival in Perpignan, southern France.
