Parliament approves bill to reform Bank of Sudan
Sept 11, 2005 (KHARTOUM) — The committee entrusted to review bills on laws and constitutional decrees that have been tabled before the National Assembly, headed by Malik Aggar, has approved the bill on the Bank of Sudan Act, 2005 at the stage of general features.
Members of the committee said the bill was in full compliance with provisions and stipulations of Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) and the Interim Constitution of the country.
The committee heard reports by the deputy governor of the Bank of Sudan, the legal advisor, the governor of the bank of southern Sudan on the bill and its importance for the coming phase.
