French envoy welcomes Darfur cease-fire agreement

Presidential Advisor for African Affairs Dr Ali Hasan Taj-al-Din has received the French ambassador to Sudan, Dominique Renaux. He praised the French government’s stance towards the Sudanese issues.

The French ambassador on his part, welcomed the cease-fire reached by the government and the outlaws in Darfur, expressing his government’s backing to the peace process in the country. However Mr Rene lauded the Sudanese-Chadian cooperation that aims at realization of stability in the region.
