Government delegation leaves for Kenya for new session of peace talks
KHARTOUM, Oct 04, 2003 (SUNA) — A government delegation, led by state minister at the Peace Advisory, Idris Muhammad Abd-al-Qadir, will leave Sunday for Nairobi for a new session of peace talks on Monday 6 October.
The session, scheduled to continue till 9 October, will discuss the issues of power and resources and the three areas [Nuba Mountains, Abyei and eastern Blue Nile].
The session will be followed by a meeting between first vice- president, Ali Uthman Muhammad Taha, and SPLM Chairman, Col John Garang, on 10 October to come up with a comprehensive agreement on all disputed issues.
