Sudanese foreign minister ends US visit
WASHINGTON, Oct 04, 2003 (SUNA) — The minister of foreign affairs, Dr Mustafa Uthman Isma’il, concluded a two-day visit to Washington Friday [3 October], where he held talks with a number of the American officials, congressmen and civil society organizations, focusing on the latest developments in the peace process in Sudan and the Sudanese-American relations.
It is to be noted that the Sudanese charge d’affaires in Washington, Ambassador Khidir Haroun, hosted a reception at Marriot Hotel in Washington at the honour of the ministers of foreign affairs and health, Dr Isma’il and Dr Ahmad Bilal Uthman, which was attended by a number of American officials and ambassadors of the friendly and sisterly states.
