Sudan sets up boundaries, federal resources commissions

Nov 19, 2005 (KHARTOUM) — The Sudanese Presidency of the Republic has issued decrees on the formation of the commission for the demarcation of boundaries between Northern and Southern Sudan as set on the 1st of January 1956.

In a press statement to the official SUNA, State Minister at the Presidency of the Republic, Idris Mohammed Abdel Gadir said, that another decrees on the formation of a commission for monitoring allocation of federal finance resources was also issued, besides issues the act on the formation a Board for Bank of Sudan.

The official added that the joint political Coordination committee between the ruling National Congress and the former rebel Sudan People’s Liberation Movement would be announced within the coming period.
