Foreign minister hails France’s role in the UN, Security Council

KHARTOUM, Oct. 12, 2003 — External Relations Minister Dr Mustafa Uthman Isma’il has commended the developing relations between Khartoum and Paris.
During his meeting with the French ambassador in Khartoum, he hailed the great role played by France in the UN and in the Security Council.
He further reviewed developments in the peace process in Sudan, stressing the role required from France, especially in after peace is achieved.
Meanwhile, the external relations minister also held talks with the new Malaysian ambassador to Sudan, Mohamed Qasami and discussed with him bilateral relations and means of pushing it forward in all domains.
