Sudan’s Second VP meets Pakistani military delegation
Dec 23, 2005 (KHARTOUM) — Sudanese Second Vice-President Ali Osman Mohamed Taha Thursday 22 December met a Pakistani military delegation at the secretariat general of the council of ministers in Khartoum, at the end of its visit which lasted the whole week .
The delegation was headed by Director General of the Joint Staff of the Pakistani Army Lt-Gen Shahid Siddiq Tirmizey and Minister of National Defence Lt-Gen Abdelrahim Mohamed Hussein.
The meeting tackled the joint military cooperation at all levels. An agreement was also signed to hold a series of meetings in the future in order to develop and advance the capability of Sudan’s armed forces.
It is worth recalling that the Pakistani military delegation included representatives from Pakistan’s air and naval forces.
