Sudanese energy minister receives Egyptian investors

Jan 2, 2005 (KHARTOUM) — Minister of Energy and Mining, Awad al-Jazz, Monday received an Egyptian investment delegation, headed by Ahmed Bahjat, the state-run SUNA said.

Al-Jazz affirmed the strength of the fraternity relations linking the peoples of Sudan and Egypt.

The meeting reviewed the investment opportunities available for the Egyptian Investors, especially in the petroleum industry, highlighting the Importance of the Dream Land Project in Gezira State.

Meanwhile, the Minister discussed Monday with the Governor of Warab State means of expanding oil exploration in the State.
