Indian president visits Sudan
KHARTOUM, Oct 21 (AFP) — Indian President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam arrived here on a three-day visit for talks with his Sudanese counterpart Omar al-Beshir and other government officials, state-run television reported.
It showed Kalam being greeted at Khartoum airport by Beshir on late Monday.
India’s president, making his visit to Sudan, will also meet with members of the Indian community living in the country.
Kalam flew in from a visit to the United Arab Emirates and is due to travel on to Bulgaria.
