IRIN Films is proud to present to you another new film-documentary free of charge.

Feb 22, 2006 (IRIN) — Malaria kills an estimated three million people every year worldwide. It is the number one killer in many countries south of the Sahara.

Filmed in Ethiopia, this documentary is a vivid account of the suffering of people struck by this disease and charts the challenges the international community faces in combating one of the worlds deadliest diseases.

As with all IRIN Films, the aim of this film is to increase awareness and understanding of humanitarian crises and to assist fellow humanitarian actors in their advocacy efforts. As a humanitarian news agency IRIN specializes in the creation of advocacy tools but remains dependant on its partners for the dissemination of these messages.
