Sudanese Salav Kiir, Bahraini FM discuss bilateral ties

Mar 27, 2006 (KHARTOUM) — First Vice-President Lt. Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit has discussed with the Bahraini Foreign minister bilateral ties and the outcome of the Arab foreign ministers meeting.

Salva_Kiir_ap.jpgIn a meeting with the Bahraini Foreign Minister, Sheikh Khalid Ibn Ahmed Ibn Al Mohamed Al Khailfa, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Lam Akol at the Republican Palace Monday, Kiir described the bilateral relations as a historical, deeply- rooted and of various common characteristics.

Salva Kiir lauded the distinguished ties with the Kingdom of Bahrain, affirming Sudan’s keenness to consolidate them in all domains.

Meanwhile, Bahraini Foreign Minister said in a statement to SUNA that the meeting reviewed outcome of the Arab Foreign Ministers’ meeting and the arrangements concerning the works of the summit, which will be held Tuesday at the Friendship Hall.

South Sudan government seems interested to attract Arab investors. The Sudanese First Vice president will meet Arab heads of states who will participate in the Arab Summit to discuss the matter.
