Cao, also vice chairman of the Central Military Commission and state councilor, said China appreciates the Sudanese government’s consistent adherence to one-China policy and its support to China in international affairs, including the human rights.

The Chinese armed forces attach importance to developing relations with the Sudanese armed forces, and are ready to deepen the cooperation between the two sides in various fields, Cao noted.

Abdelrahim Mohamed Hussein, who arrived on Thursday on an official goodwill visit to China, expressed his hope that his current visit could help the two armed forces to enhance exchanges and cooperation.

The defence minister reiterated that Sudan will continue to stick firmly to its one-China stance.
