Rebel movement planning broad meeting for southerners in Nairobi

KHARTOUM, Nov 01, 2003 — Al-Khartoum has learnt that the Kenya capital will host a broad [all-inclusive] meeting of southern forces [parties] in the last week of the month of November ahead of the beginning of the next round of peace talks.

The meeting is being organized by the people’s movement [Sudan People’s Liberation Movement] in the framework of south to south dialogue. Representatives [of the parties] inside and outside Sudan are expected to attend.
