USD 300,000 from Childhood Care Council to establish centers in Sudan?

KHARTOUM, Nov 1, 2003 (KUNA) — Secretary General of the Sudanese Council for ‏‏Childhood Care, Dr. Yasser Ahmed Ibrahim stated on Saturday that the Supreme ‏‏Council for Arab Childhood Care has offered a financial support of 300,000 ‏‏dollars to establish centers for childhood care in Sudan.‏

Ibrahim said in a press statement on Saturday that the Sudanese council has ‏set up a complete plan to solve issues of childhood and to oblige the country ‏‏to provide all services for children and to protect them from being pursued, ‏as well as to establish courts to deal with their issues.‏

‏Furthermore, the Council will outline a strategy to establish clubs for ‏Sudanese children in all provinces of Sudan to link them with children of the ‏‏world.‏

‏Dr. Ibrahim said that the Council will participate in the Arab Childhood ‏Conference to be held in Tunisia next January. It will feature specialized ‏‏ministers in the field of childhood and representatives of Arab parliaments.
