USD 300,000 from Childhood Care Council to establish centers in Sudan?
KHARTOUM, Nov 1, 2003 (KUNA) — Secretary General of the Sudanese Council for Childhood Care, Dr. Yasser Ahmed Ibrahim stated on Saturday that the Supreme Council for Arab Childhood Care has offered a financial support of 300,000 dollars to establish centers for childhood care in Sudan.
Ibrahim said in a press statement on Saturday that the Sudanese council has set up a complete plan to solve issues of childhood and to oblige the country to provide all services for children and to protect them from being pursued, as well as to establish courts to deal with their issues.
Furthermore, the Council will outline a strategy to establish clubs for Sudanese children in all provinces of Sudan to link them with children of the world.
Dr. Ibrahim said that the Council will participate in the Arab Childhood Conference to be held in Tunisia next January. It will feature specialized ministers in the field of childhood and representatives of Arab parliaments.
