Sudan’s minister, UN envoy discuss Darfur pace talks

April 16, 2006 (KHARTOUM) — The minister of cabinet affairs, Deng Alor, discussed at his office yesterday with the special representative of the UN secretary-general in Sudan, Jan Pronk, the progress of the current negotiations in Abuja to solve Darfur question.

The minister pointed out that the negotiations are progressing ahead to reach a final formula for solving the crisis soon.

He said that the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement and the National Congress have unified vision towards Darfur issue.
