Sudan supports Egypt’s call for an All Africa parliamentary meeting?
KHARTOUM, Nov. 04, 2003 (KUNA) — President Omar Albashir received on Tuesday a message from Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak regarding the convening of an All Africa parliamentary meeting.
Sudanese Foreign Minister Mustafa Ismail told reporters here today that President Albashir has said that the hosting by Egypt of this meeting would boost relations among states of the African continent and would lead to more stability and security.
Ismail noted that his country’s relations with Egypt were progressing well and had completely surpassed previous bumps.
He said he had spoken today with his Egyptian counterpart Ahmad Maher to coordinate their efforts ahead of the convening of the All Africa parliamentary meeting.
