Farrow and Ronan will visit camps and several programmes in the field, including UNICEF – supported feeding centres, families affected by HIV/AIDS and demobilization centres for children associated with armed forces and groups.

In November 2005, Award-winning actress Mia Farrow toured Abu Shouk camp outside Al-Fashir, capital of northern Darfur, expressing her shock at the threats and humiliation suffered by its inhabitants.

“They can’t leave the camp because they will be raped,” said the actress.
