Formation of Khartoum State government

June 17, 2006 (KHARTOUM) — Governor of Khartoum State, Abdul-Halim Ismail al-Mutafie, has appointed the Ministers for the Government of Khartoum State as follows: –

1- Dr. Al-Sadig Al-Hadi Al-Mahadi, Minister of Education and Deputy Governor, Umma Party Reforme).

2- Fermaina Operial Alwang Ajwaj, Minister of Local Government, Deputy Governor, Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM).

3- Omer Al-Farouk Ismail, Minister of Finance, Economy and Public Service (NCP).

4- Dr. Samia Yusuf Habani, Minister of Social Affairs (NCP).

5- Eng. Abdelwahab Mohamed Osman, Minister of Urban Planning and Public Utilities (NCP).

6- Mayan Madout Wol, Minister of Health (SPLM).

7- Sayed Haroun, Minister of Culture and Information, Democratic Unionist Party Marjayaat.

8- Abdul-Gabar Hussein Osman, Minister of Animal Resources (NCP).

9- Mohammed Ali Ahmed, Minister at the Council of Ministers.

10- Hashim Haroun, Chairman of Higher Council for Youth and Sports (Ministerial Level) (NCP).

11- Mr. Peter Sharliman, Adviser for the Governor of Khartoum State (NCP).
