Salva Kiir to visit Nairobi en route to Washington
July 16, 2006 (KHARTOUM) — The First Vice – President, Salva Kiir, is due to leave Monday for the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, in his way to Washington in a visit within two days.
Salva Kiir, will discuss with the US Administration officials the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) and the progress of implementation of Darfur Peace Agreement (DPA), besides the government stance on the issues of Peace in Sudan.
The First Vice-President will be accompanied with the Secretary General of Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), Bagan Amom, who left Sunday for Nairobi, besides a number of the South Sudan Government officials.
