Meeting between two Sudanese opposition leaders scheduled for Paris postponed

KHARTOUM, Nov. 21, 2003 — The secretary-general of the [opposition] PNC [Popular National Congress], Dr Hasan al-Turabi, has announced the postponement of his meeting with [rebel] Sudan People’s Liberation Movement leader Dr John Garang, which was scheduled to take place in the French capital, Paris.

Al-Turabi said the meeting had been postponed until next month or even later.
