We Commemorate the 1st Anniversary of our Great Leader, Hero, Peace Maker, Liberator and Aspirant of New Sudan of Justice, Equality and Democracy.

and President of the Government of Southern Sudan
Dr. John Garang de Mabior.
We the people of the Sudan and friends of the Sudan, together; let us commemorate his Sacrificial Life with burning candles, angelic songs and serene silence.
Shall we sing Alleluia to Almighty God by the rivers of the Nile;
As to recall Him, all our national heroes and legends?
May this day commence the National Commemoration Day
for our heroes for generations to come?
Silence! Yee people of the Sudan for this Day is SACRED

– A signal with a BIG BANG shall be sounded
– All Citizens light the candles silent
– All remain SILENT in prayers for 5 minutes
– Signal with BIG BANG ends the Silences
– Keep the candles burning; but not out of your watch to avoid accidences
