Council of Minister directs dissemination of internet
Khartoum, Aug 13 (SUNA)-The Council of Ministers on Sunday instructed generalization of the internet in the administrative, educational, economic and service organs. The use of the internet is a turning point, said Secretary General and Spokesman of the Cabinet, Omer Mohamed Salih. Chaired by President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al Bashir, the Council also heard a report on productive and financial standing of Gezira Scheme. The report was presented by the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry in the presence of the governor of Gezira State and Manager General of Scheme. According to the report, the Ministry is planning to cultivate 500,000 feddans to rank the first or the second exporter of long staple cotton worldwide, said Salih.
